ANNA – a short story of planetary significance

We are convinced that good storytelling can move mountains. That is why we are supporting the diploma-filmproject “Anna – a short story of planetary significance” by Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. The student team led by producer Christina Honig has succeeded in transforming Jostein Gaarder’s book “2084 – Nora’s World” into a topical screenplay in which a consistent and honest main character confronts the question of how we as humans can live up to our planetary responsibility while remaining optimistic. Anna’s infectious enthusiasm is also a journey to our own possibilities and thus to what each of us and we as a human community can and must do – because we cannot afford pessimism in the first place. The short feature film will be shot in Germany and Norway in 2022.
